Q: Should I buy an Audi TT or a Nissan 350z?
Hi, I have the choice of purchasing either a 2003 Audi TT, or a 2003 Nissan 350z. I love both of these cars and can’t come to a decision, I like the unique style and interior of the TT, but the power of the 350z. Which one should I choose?

A: Take into account your income as well. No doubt that if you buy either of these, you’re not likely to leave it outside on your drive. You’d probably be in it most of the time.

With the 350z, you’re looking at an average of just over 20mpg. The TTs is 50% more than this, at 30mpg.

On the other hand, the 350z is more or less 2 seconds quicker 0-60 wise.

I personally think that the 350z is better than the TT all round- The 00-06 TT looks lame compared to newer model. The 350z has been basically the same (in terms of looks) since it came out.

If you can afford the running costs- 350z
If you don’t want to spend much after buying- TT

Q: Should I buy a 2000 Audi TT with 137k miles?
Hello, I was wondering what people think of buy a 2000 Audi TT with 137,000 miles on it. It is being sold for $6900. Just curious if you think that it’s a good buy and how many more miles the car could get into it? Please let me know, just looking for some opinions and if it’s ok to go ahead and buy it or not. Thanks.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Im looking to buy a Audi TT roadster 1.8 quattro what should I be looking for?
Looking for TT with around 55000 miles anything I should look out for
and how much can I expect to pay as prices are all over the place.

Thanks
What should I be looking for regarding common faults and future costs on a 50000 miles car?
Also how much should I look at paying?

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: Should I buy a audi tt with 100 miles on it?
Should I buy a 2000 audi tt convertible with 100 thousand miles on it for $9,000?

A: Nice car but I would suggest a pre-purchase inspection prior to purchase. I would also check to see if the major service and timing belt was replaced yet. If not, those two things can set you back $2,000! If your state has smog checks, make sure it’s smogged before you buy it too. Good luck.

Q: I want to buy an Audi TT but my credit is really bad?
However my pay is very good, the only problem is that I am just 20 so is really hard for me to even get finance, can someone help as to how to go about getting that car?

A: You’ll need a giagantic amount of money down (20% of 40k). You’ll pay about 16% or more interest. Which means your payment will approach $800/month. Combine that with the $300/month insurance, and you’re looking at paying $1100/month for a CAR! A depreciating asset. Something that will be worth $20k in 2 years….and you’ll still have that $1100/mo expense AND STILL OWE FOR 4 MORE YEARS!!!!!

Do you realize that you could buy a HOUSE with that kind of payment? Make the same payments, and then turn around and sell it in 2 years, and get ALL your money back + appreciation!?!

Q: Should i buy an Audi TT coupe or roadster?
which one would you prefer? the Coupe or the roadster convertible?

A: well it depends on where you live… i live in chicago, so a roadster would be perfect in the spring/summer, however b/c temps get real cold during the winter, i wouldn’t want it… live somewhere mostly warm, then get the drop top… otherwise get the coupe.

Q: what would you recomend to buy, audi tt quatro or range rover sport supercharge?

A: Neither.

How are you stuck between these vehicles? They are almost total opposites in every way.

Q: Which car should I buy Audi TT or Nissan 350z?

A: if you get a TT, make sure u get the new 08 model its bad ass, if not go wit the Z

Q: I am looking to buy a Audi tt roadster as a fun 3 erd car, will I be happy with manual trans or wish I had au

A: well have you ever had a car drive and shift you? I don’t think so you better get the manual so you can drive the car and not be driven by the car.

Q: Sould I buy a used Audi TT convertible and what should I pay for it?
Are they good cars? Reliable? Expensive to fix? 2 wheel or all wheel drive?
OR should I get a used Honda S2000?
The only cars I’ve really owned were 3 4runners (1987, 1989, 1999) with almost no problems or $$$ spent and I sold them all for more than I paid for them

A: Honda’s are just as expensive to fix when they break as any thing else out there. Audi’s usually only break from owner neglect or refusal to adhere to maintenance schedules. Occasionally, all manufactures have design or production flaws. The Audi TT is an engineering marvel. It isn’t for everybody, maybe, but I would rather be in the Audi in a crash than nearly anything else. Read NHTSA crash test and recall lists. Audi does VERY, VERY WELL. Their 4 wheel drive system is probably the envy of the automotive industry for it’s effectiveness and low add-on weight. Usually the only costs here are for tires and brake pads. My motto is that the only thing better than an Audi is a used Audi or one that can be bought at discount.

Q: should i buy an audi tt or a bmw?
should i buy an audi tt 225 or a bmw 325 coupe?

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com

Q: Should I buy a Used Audi TT?
Hello , im planing on buying used TT it had around 70k Miles on it and it is 2002 and people say it is really good just the back seats are not so comfortable but i don’t really care, and the look is Great! Thank You!
And yeh im only 18 and can’t really afford a new car because i have to pay for collage tho.

A: hey nice car u want buy think about the parts and labor for yhis one is really expensive is a 2002 and has 70k a lot
if u are a student get a domestic car parts and labor suck here,
for my A6 2003 with 43.000 miles tranmission broke down it is 7.000 $to fix at a audi dealer (a new one) so do your numbers right finish college and get a new one with warranty thill then get something else my opinion……
hope u make a good deal

Q: Looking to buy either a 2002 Audi TT Quattro or a 1998 BMW M3 E36 need help, which is better?
I’d like to know bits and pieces of both cars pros and cons, which is better to customize mechanically, how much is it to customize mechanically and visually, the general basics, any information is appreciated.
Also i think that the M3 has the indicator on the left hand side of the wheel instead of the right hand side, could i change it over to the right side?

A: I would get the 02′ TT. Nowadays if you don’t know what your looking at people just slap on M3 badges onto 3 series. The TT makes a much better appearance. I am pretty sure in terms of cost they are the same. Considering the rarity of the M3 i would think repairs would be way more costly. With the TT you are also looking at something 4 years newer!

Q: is it better to buy 2002 Audi TT ALMS edition for 11k – 63k miles?
I’ve got a deal for 2002 Audi TT ALMS edition for 11k – 63 k miles. 63K miles. Monza silver with Red silk Nappa leather interior, xenon lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, Navigation, Bose sound, 6 CD player, etc.

My wife has VW jetta. below are the things i would like to know:

how is the maintenence costs, is there anything like minimum $$ need to spend per month ?
Also, comparing with VW Jetta how is the maintenence ?
Also, let me know reliablity ?
Anything do i need to take care before buying/after buying .. actually i’m buying from the person belonging to the same company.

One last question, I had a plan to buy G35 coupe. do you know which one (among G35/Audi TT) is better in all aspects like mainly in maintenence costs etc, reliability. It would be great if you answer these questions.

A: Audi’s typically have better quality control, and are EXCEPTIONAL cars. THey don’t rust, and they are made from some of the best materials on the face of the earth. You will probably NEVER see an Audi with a cracked dash, or bad wood panels, either. THey REQUIRE the use of oil that meets specification 502/505. whcih means basically mobil one 0W-40 or Total (ELF) 5W-40 racing oil from France. Pentosynthe is even better, if you can find it. NEVER trust a quicky lube with this car. AUdi has special needs for fluids that are most easily found at the dealership. NO NAPA parts or VALVOLINE, EVER!! Biggest wear items are wheel bearings and suspension parts, if you live in an area with lots of pot holes. Engines are UNREAL. Brakes are EASY do-it-yourself items. Whole job, about $165 in parts. New rotors and GREAT dust-free pads. Exhaust system should last forever, as will the chassis. Get fuel efficient tires. Change trans fluid and brake fluid every 3-4 years. Most people never even bother to read their owner’s manuals. YOU, BE DIFFERENT!! Read the maintenance section and fluid recommendations. The G35 is more forgiving about neglect, but NOT as much fun. Might be cheaper to own. Audi only needs oil change once a year, or once every TWO years with Pentosynthe oil. Keep your engine compartment WASHED FREQUENTLY!!! Use GUNK orange. Road salt can harm engine sensors on ANY car. Power wash the space between theradiator and the A/C condenser where road debris collects. GOOD LUCK!! Use :”Blaufergnugen.com” for all wear items. They have great specials on timing belt kits and suspension upgrades. They even rent tools for belt changing.

Q: Should I buy an Audi TT or Mitsubishi Eclipse as a new car in Need for Speed Underground 2?
Eclipse- highest torque
TT- highest horsepower

A: Don’t make the mistake of buying a Mitsubishi Eclipse. The Audi TT may be the BEST car in the game. I bought an Audi TT and customized it. Now, It has reached the max. limit on the top speed, acceleration ,etc. bars. Though the Eclipse was a good car in the original NFS Underground, it SUCKS BIG TIME in NFS U2. Don’t buy it unless u collect Mitsubishis in the game, which is Very unlikely….

http://www.speedlux.com/702-hp-audi-rs6-avant-by-mtm-fastest-car-at-the-nardo-high-speed-event/

Audi RS6

A: Price starts at $114,000

Just go to Audi of UK, they sell RS6’s there and do a quick conversion to euro to dollar

Q: Battery issues with Audi TT’s?
I bought a TT last month, yesterday morning the battery was almost dead but I could still start the vehicle, I came out of work and had to get jumped. It sounds like something is constantly running in the car, all the lights come on, clocks everything – but the battery is dead. Is this common? Also is there a good place online to buy car batteries?

A: had the same problem with my 1.8T, yea I had a short. you can easily check shorts. Get a battery tester and leave the black wire connected to the battery testing it. Connect both red and black wires from battery tester and connect to positive and negative. It will show how many volts are being used without ingnition on.

Q: 2001 Audi TT Quattro 1.8L?
i am looking for ways to get more flow and horsepower and im looking in to a dual exhaust and i took it to a shop and they told me to look online for a two-tip suitcase muffler and they noticed that it already had a place cut out for a dual just not into the bumper so i need another bumper to fit a dual exhaust. everyone tells me to look online but i cant find any of this

A: the best solution is: sell it and buy the same one, just take the 1.8T engine, this engine is the finest product from vag concern. then go to your local car tuning company and set up the electronic turbine settings, you will easily get some 40-50 horsepower for not much money.

Q: Thinking of buying an Audi TT next year..Insurance quotes ect.?
im quite young..but ive researched this and if i keep my job down id be able to afford this. would be my 2nd car.
Any advice? obviously wouldnt buy a new one..
what sort of price would i expect for a good quality one?

also.. car insurance.. what websites are the best to find out approx. figures? ive been on ones before where they ask for your details and call you back..obviously dont want this just yet..just an average quote online where nothings written in stone so to speak//

thankyou SO much for any help xx

A: All TTs are big insurance. The Roadsters even more so, the 180bhp Roadster is a group 19!! Whereas the 225bhp Coupe is just an 18.

I’m sure if you can afford second car you can afford it, if not sell the first car!

Q: Where to look for cars?
I am getting my license in about a month now and I was thinking of getting an Audi TT because my sisiter’s boyfriend has one. I live in toms river nj and i was wondering where i should look for a good deal on an Audi TT? Should i look online or what, probably going to buy a used audi tt

A: Hey go to AutoShopper.com there you can search for cars in our area.

Note: Also looking for a car and here are my choices in order:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ah_O5JwDdrth6R2wzy6dy6Lsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081012192346AAb0Ms2

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AggpGsGKFHnynpjfsn2XzUvsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20081013121436AAbmTE7

Good Luck to Ya!

Q: False adverstisement?
while car shopping online i found this 2003 Audi tt being offered by $1,600.00 looks like the dealership made a typo or they are falsely advertising this vehicle. now i would like to purchase the car for the price advertised but I’m scared they wont honor it.
will i be able to legally purchase the car for the price they are advertising? and if they don’t honor it can i take it to court and realistically win? thanks!

A: Under the law of contracts, an advertised price is an invitation to treat – meaning that is an idea of a price that you may, or may not make an offer on. If you choose to make an offer, then the dealership has the right to accept or refuse the offer (as a contract is formed of the basic components of offer and acceptance). As such, if it is an error, the dealership may legally refuse your offer.

However, the dealership may be governed by fair trade laws. For instance in Australia, all business must abide by the Trade Practices Act (Cth). Section 56 advises with “bait advertising”, that is deliberately misleading customers by advertising a product for a price that they do not intend to honor, or have very limited stock of, so that they cannot fulfil demand, with the intention of selling a more expensive item. Therefore, if you could prove that the dealership deliberately advertised the Audi at a low price simply to manipulate customers, in Australia you would have a case.

However, I do think you would have much luck if the dealership had simply made a typo. Regardless, I would advise you to contact the dealership and ascertain what the correct price is. If they refuse to honor your price, then you could contact a body such as Consumer Affairs and find out more information regarding laws in your area.

Q: buying last years car model?
im looking at a leftover 08′ audi tt in january 2009..what kind of discount could i expect? not sure how desperate a dealer would be to get this off the lot. msrp’s and invoices online are shown for 09 models so i’m not even sure what to base my asking price on. they advertise 33,899 as their price. any tips?

A: 5-10% less than what you could negotiate a 2009 model.

Q: Test Drive Unlimited?
Hello everyone, I have a few questions to all your drivers out there

1 Do you think that there should be something to stop cheaters online, as seeing some of the times posted are impossible, and makes a mokery of the game as it’s potentially one of the best online driving games out there?

2 Why oh why oh why, didn Atari test the game more in online content, graphic glitches, and the whole Gamespy player matching, when GS Arcade doesnt reconise any of the servers when launching Arcade, and only realistically works when trying to match players for a online race

3 Why didnt Atari allow the gamer to choose servers so UK players can recieve a better ping and allow mates to meet up for cruses races etc

4 In your eyes what are the best cars for each class

I have A F430
Audi TT
Shelby 500 GT
and Lotus Elise

in your opinoin what do you think are best for each class

and Finnaly

5 What is your biggest annoyance with the game?

Cheers Mark

A: 1) no because some users very get stuck and require cheats

Q: Cheapest way to get Car Insurance for a 19 year old male, in Ontario?
I am a 19 year old male university student in Ontario Canada. I live at home in the summer and only one hour from home during the school year for my studies.

I would like to purchase my own car for everyday driving. However, I know that I would not be able to afford the ridiculous insurance there is for a male driver that is under 25 and listed as the primary driver.

I have heard of ways to get around this, such as getting listed as a secondary driver and having my dad as the primary driver and just me as a temporary driver. Doing this is kind of lying, as I would be having the car all the time in the school year and then bring it home with me when I work at home. I don’t think it would matter though, I doubt it is risky that if I did need a claim they would investigate how much I had the car…
But what my dad seems to think is that he can only have a certain amount of cars listed as him as primary. My mom and dad live together and together own a 1994 Intrepid, 2003 Cadillac CTS and a 1988 Corvette (that is insured for only 5 months a year, stored in the winter). I am only insured as a temporary driver on the Intrepid as it is too expensive for anything else.

I also have a 21 year old sister who is in the same situation (lives at home for 4 months a year) but she has just bought her own car and is her own primary driver. So I don’t think that should affect me at all, it is cheap enough for a female to get primary insurance at this age.

So now I want to buy a sports car. I am 100% sure I want to buy a car that is not common, its just something I am stubborn about and so I know that insurance will be more this way. Specifically I was looking at an Audi tt, BMW 300 series, Mitsubishi Eclipse or a Mustang… I also found a great deal on a ‘99 Porsche Boxster that a seller has that is way underpriced and I’d love to buy it (first choice).

My question is, can I claim that my dad is really the owner of the Porsche (or other car) and say that I am a temporary driver, and then have me drive it all the time and take it back and forth to school, etc, knowing my parents together already have 2 vehicles and 1 summer vehicle. I would take myself off of the temporary insurance on the Intrepid. My dad seems to think that an insurance company will not allow them to be primary drivers on 3 vehicles and 1 summer vehicle while having dependant children… But what if I did the insurance quotes online and got approved? I already did get quotes before, and I don’t think I ran into any problems. But I want to be covered and in case I did need to make a claim, this method won’t come back to bite me in the butt.

What is anyone’s take on this? Like I said, I cannot afford to pay the insurance on the car as a primary driver at this point, but paying for the car itself won’t be a problem. I do realise that I will be paying for this way than I do at the moment because of the car, but instead of $3000 more I was thinking $400 more or something.

Thanks for reading all the facts, any answers will be greatly greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone!

A: “My question is, can I claim that my dad is really the owner of the Porsche (or other car) and say that I am a temporary driver, and then have me drive it all the time and take it back and forth to school, etc, knowing my parents together already have 2 vehicles and 1 summer vehicle”

Can you do this? Sure, you can do anything you want, it’s a free country. However the insurance won’t be worth the paper it’s written on. First trying to find an insurer who’s going to allow this is going to be difficult. On the appliaction it will ask how many vehicles are in the household and how many drivers there are. When they see there are 5 vehicles (including the one you’re giong to buy) for 4 drivers they are not going to accept that you are not the principal driver of one of the vehicles. Even if you were to find an insurer to accept this (mostly by lying), if there is an accident the insurer will investigate the accident with a fine tooth comb. When they find out you are the actual principal driver (and they will, it’s not difficult) they will deny the claim, then you and your father will be financially responsible for eveyones damages and injuries. This means you can potentially bankrupt your family, lose the family home and be in debt for the rest of your life and your parent’s life trying to pay off any judgement awarded against you and them. So ask yourself if you’re perpared to ruin your financial future and your parent’s financial future just so you can buy an impractical car which which you’ll probably end up racking up speeding tickets in?

Q: Used Car Purchase Price Inquiry – Opinions Appreciated?
Make: Audi
Model: TT 225 Quattro (AWD)
Style: Convertible
MIles: 60,500
Color: Red
Condition: Clean

Right now I am considering bying this vehicle. They are asking (dealership) $17,495. However, according to everyone I have asked, it is due for a routine 60k service. It will need upwards of $2,000 of work done to it to assure it is in proper working order.

Now, the asking price is $17,495. I have seen online estimators as low as a tad over $16,000 on KBB. With the repairs in mind, and estimations on “value”, would it be outlandish to offer like $13,500 – $14,000 for this car? What would you suggest?

A: KBB is ususally a little high in their values. You should assume, however, that the car has had all necessary services, and if it hasn’t, make an offer including the 60k service in the sale price of the car. Make them include promise of the service in writing.

I would offer $15,500 INCLUDING the 60k service, as the dealer can service the car cheaper than you can and you will also not have to pay for it out of pocket.

Q: What’s the best car for the money?
I want a used car that’s inexpensive but safe for my family with kids. I say used since I don’t want to pay full retail value and I can find a car cheaper with a second hand online dealer checking the background with carfax. I’d like a car that’s good on gas since I plan on keeping this car for the next 7-10 years. I don’t need bells and whistles or space (other than room for four) since it’ll be a secondary vehicle. I’ve looked at the 2008 Hyundai Elantra, Toyota corolla, and Toyota Yaris recently. I guess they are okay, but they are kind of ugly to me, and although I know they are practical, my emotional side is saying, “yuck”. I llove the Hybrids, but they are a bit out of my budget of around 12,000 dollars (with taxes etc. .. ) for one with low miles/ newer. My husband likes the Audi A4 convertible or TT, and I like Mini Coopers or VWs. These are all more expensive, but I think they’d keep their value longer and possibly be worth it in the long run even if I have to buy a 2006. What do you think? What kind of car should I consider?

A: Toyota
Honda
Nissan
Hyundai

Any of those cars in that order will last you the longest & the maintenance isn’t bad. I had a 2004 Audi A4 and after the warranty was up, I was paying 70 dls for an oil change & their parts are expensive.

Q: convert car OEM stereo to accept usb(mp3) input?
My 1999 Audi A4 has the oem concert Bose stereo and a cd changer in the boot. i dont want to have to change the stereo as i like the flush look of the standard stereo so was wondering what is the cheapest way to get the oem stereo to read a usb stick full of mp3’s???

this is the cheapest kit i can find online

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Connects2-USB-Interface-Adaptor-Audi-A2-A3-A4-A6-A8-TT_W0QQitemZ190333834206QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Audio_TV_Electronics_In_Car_Entertainment_GPS_In_Car_Audio_Players_PP?hash=item2c50c7d3de

but then i also came across these two and wondered if they would work just connected straight up to the stereo (the stereo is blaupunkt and the amp and speakers are bose)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260522517799&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

A: it would be cheaper and sound better if you got a new deck with an auxillry imput from walmart for like 40$

Find new and used Audi TT for sale at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: Is the Audi TT for girls?
I’m a guy and I like this Audi TT 2001 thats for sale at a local dealership, it is red on black (red paint, black rims black leather interior) but my friend says that it’s a chicks car, what do you think? BTW I’m 6′2.
also what about a bmw z4? is this a chicks car? both this models are convertible, however i would never put the top down

A: i think its a sick car. look into a TTS that faster. dont get a convertible thats for chicks. as for ur height, id do a test drive in that to make sure u have head clearence bro

Q: Should I put a turbo and a chip on an A4, or should I get a 350z/audi TT quattro 3.2?
I have an audi A4 but I want something faster. It is an automatic transmission and it is the 2.0T. I am debating either chipping the A4 and putting some kind of turbo kit on it, possible other upgrades. Or I can just get rid of it and get an 350Z. There is currently an audi TT quattro 3.2L for sale with 75,000 miles for 23k which is lookin pretty nice right about now too.

Any feedback, info about the turbo kits, or cars would be greatly appreciated as well.

A: Your car already has a turbocharger on it. . .

Q: How would you handle a situation like this: ?
I recently bought an expensive vehicle (Audi TT) and the sales guy was pretty laid back and really didn’t put any extra effort in selling the vehicle to me. He told me it was my responsibility to order things the car dealer owed me and then lied later on that he never said that when his manager asked. My battery went dead in a month of owning it and they tried saying I did something to it. They replaced it for me and claimed they were more than generous to me. The manager at one point asked what is a girl from (the town I live in) buying a car from us. Yes, I live in the country but that is discriminating even to say that. This morning the heated seats didn’t work and I need to get it fixed but don’t want to deal with them. What would you do in this situation?

A: I can pretty much guarantee you that if these reports are real and common with the dealership, then they would lose their Audi franchise eventually. Go to the top girl! Don’t get mad, get even and in the meantime try another dealer. Let them know you won’t buy from the others again and you’re ‘their’s for the taking’ within reason of course

Funny I had a boss who had a 1.8 A4 Turbo and loved it so much he bought a TT. He sold that within 12 months and bought a Beamer M3.

Q: Audi TT-S, TT-RS INFO?
Does any one know when and what the pricing will be for the new Audi TT-S and the TT-RS and when they will be for sale

A: The information on the TT-S version can be found easily on www.audi.co.uk along with artist gallery shots.

More information can possibly be obtained from www.whatcar.co.uk were you can watch videos of individual manufacturers and models.

The TT-S is now available to order for delivery in the summer.

Pricing can be obtained by email from the Audi website.

Q: Can anyone help with information on getting a spare key cut and programmed for an Audi TT?
I have just bought a 2nd hand Audi TT and it only came with one key. Naturally I would like a spare for when I loose that one!! I have been told by the dealer that this will cost over £160 in total!! There are keys and remotes on sale at ebay but I am a bit wary that these will be difficult to re-code and programme. I don’t have the code that would have orginally come with the car when new. Has anyone bought a key off ebay and been successful with getting the blade cut and remote (immobiliser, alarm, etc.) recoded and reprogrammed???? Thanks in advance for any answers. xx

A: Yes you can buy a key off of eBay, But you will still have to take it to the dealer to get it recoded and lazer cut. there really is no way to get the key coded and cut without going to the dealer. sorry Good luck.

Q: can you put a picture on your item what you are selling on ebay after you have put it up for sale?
i have put a audi tt n/s headlight (xenon) up for sale on ebay but the pictures dont seem to come up my username is spraypaintersafc if you are intrested but please help
if you can how.i have put a audi tt n/s headlight (xenon) up for sale on ebay but the pictures dont seem to come up my username is spraypaintersafc if you are intrested but please help

A: do not know i bought the get up but have had no luck.

Q: Im Buying a New Car any ideas?
I currently have a 2005 Infiniti G35 Coupe and the lease is up next month (April) . I have been looking around and I want some thing in the price range of about $35,000-$50,000 depending on the car I have thought about a used Porsche 911 and I like the new Audi TT-S but I don’t know when its supposed to be for sale I want some thing 2 door coupe sporty and preferably fast no American cars. Any Suggestions

A: What about the New Audi A5? I just ordered one. It drives amazing and is probably the most beautiful car I have ever seen. It will be at the top of your budget, but it will be worth it. The BMW 335i Coupe would also be worth looking. The BMW is stupid fast and looks are killer. It is a big upgrade from the Infiniti. I would not recommend the new Infiniti G35 Coupe because it has a sand-box sized trunk and doesn’t grip the road too well.

Q: why are australian cars so dear, looking for a convertible?
hi, im moving to australia within the next two weeks to go to uni, and im looking for a replacement for my bmw mini which im unable to import, i have approx £11,000 which here in england easily buys you a nice second hand car.

the problem is i cant seem to find anything reasonably priced, for example i fancied having an audi tt roadster, (lol sunshine and top down an all that haha) but the only one i can find for sale in WA is a year 2000 and $32000 which is approx £14000 and back here in the UK i could easily pick up a similar one for £9000. why is it soooo dear??? can anyone enlighten me?

so looking for info for were i can get a nice pref convertible within my price range such as an mercedes slk, audi tt, honda s2000, also interested in cars such as a bmw 3 series E46 coupe or another mini!!! so if anyones got one for sale which i can afford or can help?

any help would be much appreciated!

thanks, scott

A: European cars cost a lot to import to Australia due to the distance, these cars also attract a luxury car tax in Aust when new.
So as the car is sold it still carries some of the costs from new. Therefore our european cars cost a sh!t load more than they should, but hey thats life buy an Aussie built car if you dont want to pay the big bucks!

As for buying a convetible….. Australia is not that sunny place you see in the magazines every day. We have some of the extremest weather in different parts of the country. I would buy one with a sun roof only, not soft top. Rememer 40 degrees Celcius is not the temperature to have a flimsy rag top folded back. you will want full protection and a good airconditioner.

Q: Possible Scam?? Help?!!?
Hello, I did some re-search and found out that people have gotten scammed by the eBay protection policy process. Here are the emails I have been sent.

Hello and sorry for the delay,
I am very glad that you interested in buying my car (2001 Audi TT Coupe).I am selling this car because my platoon has been sent back to Iraq and don’t want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it before July 12. It has no damage, no scratches or dents,no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn’t been involved in any accident..I do have the title, clear, under my name. It is still available for sale if interested, price as stated in the ad $6200. The car is in Victoria,BC in case it gets sold I will take care of shipping.Let me know, if you are interested, email back.

Here is the information:

Mileage: 63809
VIN Number: TRUSX28N311034337

Sincerly,
Lt. Mark Terrell

I then asked how we would go through wiht the process and if I could get an inspection of the vehicle.

Because it is a large transaction we will complete the deal only using an authorized third party like eBay, using their eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection. The payment will be handling by eBay and you will benefit of 7 inspection time period and the option to accept or reject the car on my expense. The payment is going to be send to one of eBay Vehicle Purchase Protection agent, funds will be placed on hold until you receive and inspect the car. In case you don’t like the car (is not our situation) you will ship it back at my cost and receive a full refound from eBay employee. Payment will be relesed to me only with your approval…If you are still interested just send me your full name and shipping address. I will forward your info and they will notify you about our deal.
Sincerly,
Lt. Mark Terrell

Sound like a scam?

A: You really ought to do a little more research on buying on eBay motors. I recommend starting with this link:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/eBayMotors.html

At the bottom of that article are links to purchase protection programs and escrow services. The “holding the money till you’re satisfied” is escrow service – not purchase protection.

Q: I’m a non-resident buying a used car in California?
I’m in Los Angeles for 2 years on a work visa and I’m buying a car outright to use while I’m here. The car I’m getting is a 2008 Audi TT Roadster priced at $35,980 from an Audi dealership.
Since I am a non-resident do I have to pay CA sales tax and if so, what else will I have to pay on top of the purchase price?
Also, will I have to have a CA driver’s license before I can buy the car and to register it etc.

Thanks for your help!

A: I do think you have to have a regular drivers license.

Find new and used Audi TT at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: How can I get my ‘01 Audi TT windshield washers to work again?
I have found out that the washers on my Audi TT for the headlights work but not for the windshield. Is there a certain sequence I have to perform in order to switch between the two washers or am I just lacking washer fluid?

A: you are quite possibly lacking washer fluid, only recently replaced mine, pop the bonnet and it should be on the left side, then again a warning light should have come on at some point to indicate that the fluid levels were low.

Q: Is an Audi TT coupe suitable for my first car?
So, I am getting my license next week! I am looking for cars, and the Audi TT coupe caught my eye. Is it suitable for me? I will be driving to school, around the town, and on short trips. I was also looking at the BMW 328i coupe. Do you have any more suggestions that are in this price range?
It is not necessary to rant about how “spoiled” I am. Yes, my family is doing quite well financially, but my parents have decided that I have earned the privileged of a new car, and I am very very grateful.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.yoll.net

Q: How many miles does a 2002 Audi TT last before it starts to break down?
I’m interested in a 2002 Audi TT that has 95K miles and i was wondering how many miles these cars can go before they start to break down. Any help?

A: there is no magic number or near magic number were cars suddenly break . components are in a constant state of degradation and its up to the owner to be on top of it.with proper care the car can last several hundred thousand miles or more

Q: Will I be able to start my Audi TT if I unplug my + on the battery?
I found some corrosion on the connector of my battery and I can’t start.
What are the risk of unplugging the plus of the battery. My car is a 2000 Audi TT quattro.

Thanks
I meant restart obviously!

A: thats fine- but you should disconnect negative first.

Q: What are the 4 screws around the top of the audi tt for?
Theres 4 little covers that if you move to the side reveal screws that you remove from the top of the audi tt. What are they for? Looks like theyre for removing the hard top but is that possible?

A: They’re mounting holes for attaching a roof rack to carry skis, bicycles, etc.
Here’s a pic- http://www.ttguy.com/pix/roofrack.jpg

Q: How much would it cost to change a manual transmission to an automatic transmission in an audi tt?
I’m looking to purchase a cpo audi tt 3.2 but all of the ones near me are manual. I could pay about six grand more and buy a tt 3.2 with an auto but dont know if it could be cheaper to change the transmission on it once purchased?

A: Don’t bother. If you want automatic, buy an automatic. Save the manual transmission cars for people who want them.

Q: How much is it to replace a transmission on a 2002 Audi tt?
I’m looking at buying a 2002 Audi TT for 2k, but it needs a trans. Just wondering if anyone knows what that might run. Thanks!

A: Depends on which trans it is. For the cheapest of the automatics (code 01M), you can figure on about $7k for parts and labor.

Q: How much would my insurance be with an audi tt?
I am going to buy a 2003 audi tt. I am 16 years old and it will be in my name and i will be the owner.
It has 130,000 miles and was recently inspected.
I am going to buy a 2003 audi tt. I am 16 years old and it will be in my name and i will be the owner.
It has 130,000 miles and was recently inspected. lol i didnt notice i posted in that section i live in the usa.

A: As you have asked in the UK and Ireland section of Yahoo Answers I have to say you wll not get insurance for one until you are old enough to have a licence and even then not untill you are around 21

Q: How much does it cost to run a Audi TT and/or a Mini Cooper?
I am looking to buy either an Audi TT or a Mini Cooper. Can any one advise me on the cost of tyres and servicing? I just wanted to know if there are major differences in the running costs. I have already researched insurance and petrol.

A: if you worried about the cost of tyres and servicing for the squashed up beetle (audi tt), that means you cant afford it,,

of course the mini would be cheaper

Q: Is it possible to take out the turbo in an Audi TT to make it P plate legal?
I really want an Audi TT but because of the Turbo it’s not legal. I need to find a way to drive it legally.

A: just drive it anyways and if the cops want to mess with u smoke em!

Q: does the audi tt have a four seater for the convertible?
I am confused on the whole roadster and quattro thing, and I wanted to know if I could get a audi tt convertible that fit 4 people, or if it only fit two?

also, is it cramped in the two seater audi tt?? my boyfriend is 6′4 and like 230pds. will he be uncomfortable driving it or being the passenger?

A: Looks like most of your question has already been answered. I own a TT convertible. I am 5′ 6″ and have no problems, but it does take some getting used to getting in and out because it is low. The doors are wide and I find I often have scuff marks on the inside caused by trying to swing my legs out without have space to fully open the door. My husband is 5′ 11″ and he does not like driving in it unless the top is down. He feels very claustrophobic. It is pretty small inside with the top up.

Q: How Can I increase Horse Power on my 2002 Audi TT Quattro?
I have a stock 2002 audi tt quattro and i wanna make it better performance wise but I’m not so sure on how to. I want to increase the horse power and make it louder and/or more noticeable without breaking the bank.

A: you can replace stock parts with performence parts

Q: Whats the fastest version of the audi tt made pre 2006?
I want to buy an Audi TT coupe (older body style) whats the hottest model I can find american or euro spec is there like an rs4ish version or is the 3.2 quattro the best Im going to find.

A: I drove both the 3.2 quattro DSG and the TT Sport and I believe the latter was a quicker car. It was considerably lighter and and a better BHP/Ton ratio. Acceleration was quicker.

Q: What is the bolt pattern for a 2001 Audi tt coupe quattro?
someone told me they put aftermarket rims on their audi and they had problems with alignment until they installed some kind of center piece to the inside of the rim. Does anyone know about this? What is the bolt patter for a 2001 tt coupe quattro?

A: you might need a spacer depending on the dish of the wheel. I believe it is a six bolt pattern or I guess if you found some you really wanted the didnt come in the right pattern you would need a converter but that would be stupid just get some that fit the bolt pattern

Q: what is the plus and minus signs on the Audi TT’s shifter for?
Well yeah there is a plus and minus sign on the shifter of my Audi TT. What the hell is it for.
Please more information on how to use it. More Details please. I know the shifter moves to the right towards the plus so it shifts up, but then after you have shifted once how do you shift again?

A: This means your TT is tiptronic so you can keep it on D: drive and use it like it’s Automatic
or shift to the right and use the plus or minus to use it like it’s Manual

when you shift to the right: you move the shifter once up to the + sign to move one gear up (from 2 to 3, less RPM) and twice for two gears up (from 2 to 4) … etc
and the same for the minus sign > more RPM, down gears.
on the screen, in front of the driver (behind the steering wheel) you could read, it’s indicated, on which gear you are, and thus you change according to the slope or the speed you want ..

you can always drive it as automatic on the D: drive, but it’s better to try to change gears, and more amusing/ driving wise.

Find new and used New Audi S6 at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: what you guys think about the new AUDI TT and new AUDI S6???HOT ain’t it???
i like the Q7 too, but i’m a sports car fan )

A: Yes, they are hot. As I can see you are a fan of audi, so what do you think about Q7?

Q: What are the main differences between the Audi S6 and S8?
I am looking at a 2007 model S6 (25000 miles) but I found a 2007 S8 with (38000 miles) for about the same price. It really looks to be the same car with exception to a few cosmetic interior differences. Are there any dealers out their that could explain why these cars have a $25000 difference in price when new? What is the difference?

A: S6 is slightly detuned, 435 hp vs 450 hp. S6 is smaller in size all around: smaller gas tank, less trunk space, less inerior room, etc. The S8 will have more advanced amenities than the S6 (more adjustability in the seats, etc.). Both are amazing to drive but I would deffinately take the S8 over the S6 merely for comfort alone, however, neither car will disappoint.

Try searching for S6 vs. S8 in any search engine.

Q: Which is the better wagon, audi s6 or audi allroad?
Hi, i’m in the market for a new car and was looking at these two.
Based on performance and reliability, which is the better car?

A: If I was up north in the snow and/or areas with dirt roads I would go with the Allroad. I am in Florida now and have an A6 Avant. I like it. It’s very sporty, but the roads are smooth and I do not need the extra clearance. I have quattro though and it sticks to the road like glue. by the way do not get a 3.0 go for the 4.2 or 2.7t

Q: Is this Audi S6 a good deal?
I’ve been looking at the purchase of a new vehicle, and recently I came across a 2007 Audi S6 for around $39,000 with 49,000 miles on it. It has had only 1 owner and has a perfect Carfax history, with consitant maintenance and checkups.

I have done quite a bit of research, but I wanted to know what downsides there might be to purchasing this kind of car with this many miles on it. I know there is a lot that could go wrong, but what problems could I most likely run into with this car?

Thanks for your help.

A: Check out www.quattroworld.com. That is a MUCH better place to research Audi’s. Don’t just trust any yahoo I’m there all the time. By far the most technical of the forums. Stay away from audiworld.com and vwvortex.com. They are all punk ass’ who will just bad mouth you for asking. Hope this helps. I love my S4, but the S6 is a different beast.

Q: Why are these new Audi rims so cheap?
I found these rims on ebay and they are so much cheaper then any other rims I’ve seen. Any idea why? Are they low quality? If they are low quality will it effect the performance of my car? Is there a reason why I shouldn’t buy them considering how cheap they are compared to other rims that are similar to these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-Chrome-Audi-A4-A6-A8-RS6-S4-S6-S8-V8-TT-wheels-rims_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ43958QQihZ019QQitemZ290119178409QQtcZphoto

A: Seller says DOT and YUV approved, if that could be verified they would be safe and of sufficient quality for use. They may not exact match with the Audi ones for individual replacement but work good as a set.

They are indeed replicas, but not necessarily of poor quality.

Again inquire as to the veracity of the DOT and TUV approval from the seller

Q: Is a Audi A6 worth buying? Any regrets?
Looking into a new Audi A6. Is it fast? Should i go for the bigger engine upgrades? Details on anything is good. How about the Audi S6?

I love the look and interior, but looking at the numbers and the weight of the car, it seems “sluggish”

I haven’t test driven the car yet.

A: I purchased a 2001 A6 Avant Quattro 2.8l with 86k going on about two years now, All I have had two do to it was brakes and the timing belt and water pump (All for $1050). It is such an amazing car to drive and spent time in on the long hauls. I hit a deer with it at 75 on the passenger side front, it took out the head light, and the driving light below it, but the amazing part was the I barely felt it, the car barely moved and it was a light thud and I was able to keep driving it to a lighted exit off the desolent hwy I was traveling on at night. nothing was obstructing the wheel and I was able to travel on home. I took it into the body shop and was given a brand new car with 6k miles on it, all I can say is, my car drove out far better!!

I agree with the guy a page back, there are certain things to expect to repair on a car like a Audi, but I would rather put it into this than a ford that drives like it has the miles on it. my car just rolled to 115k and I am amazed at how like new the ride still is.

No regrets so far with this purchase, but it was all about doing the homework. I traced the vehicle back to the originating dealer that serviced it up until 6k miles before I bought it. It was a one owner car, and all the recommended service has been done.

I hope to drive this car beyond 200K!!

Q: Looking for a new car; what should I get?
I just bought my son a 2005 Honda Accord.. Now I’m looking for a new car..

My picks are..
2008 Acura RL
2008 Audi S6
2006 Volkswagen Phaeton
2007 Hyundai Azera

Which car? Or should I pick another car?

A: Well, there’s about a $20,000 price gap between the RL/S6 and a used Phaeton/Azera. The Phaeton didn’t sell well at all, so it maybe a bargin on the used market, though VW quality is always a concern with pricey repairs on a limited edition car esspecially. The Azera can be found used for a nice price and is a wonderful car to drive with good gas mileage, power and luxury in a beautiful package. Since you can afford an S6/RL I would suggest you get the new Hyundai Genesis V8, 375HP ultra luxury for under $42,000. http://www.hyundaiusa.com

Q: kids and car sickness????
We recently got a new car (Audi S6) and our daughter has all the sudden been getting car sick. She is not reading or anything. Is there anything we can do to prevent this? She is 7 and in a booster seat because she is tiny for her age. I thought about Dramamene but that would make her sleepy probably. Has anyone else experienced this and does anyone have a solution. We are about to take a road trip and are worried…

A: morphine

Q: Aren’t Audis more than just “overpriced VWs”?
I personally love the new styling direction of Audi and the interior is top notch, especially compared to Mercedes where certain details are obvious in where they cut corners to save costs. I have also heard many times that Audis are just overpriced VWs but in reality, how is it much different than the relationship between Toyota and Lexus or other brand sharing relationships? Also, VW always uses the latest technology in their Audi line first. You saw the DSG transmission utilized in Audis before it made its way to higher-end VW models. And let’s not forget that Audi also benefits from it’s relationship to Lamborghini in the use of its V10 engine in the S6/RS6 models.

So really, what is so bad about parts sharing since so many other luxury brands have been doing it for some time. Clearly there are benefits in the case of the RS6.

This is not so much a question but more curious to see everyone else’s opinion about this popular statement made by Audi haters. You have to give Audi some credit in making an overall great product through its many innovations.

I want serious contributions here, no stupid “Audi sucks!” comments (without explanation that is)

A: having owned both makes, i can only tell you this:

they share some parts, and even though the a4 and the passat are built similar, there are few parts that are interchangeable.

why are people so quick to judge vw and audi when nissan makes the 350z or 370z now and the g35 which are the same car (probably just as much as a passat is a a4)

if anyone looks up vw and audi’s history they will find many of the great things these 2 car makers have brought to the auto industry.

anyway, i could write forever about this…but just to finish quick

there are obvious differences between audi and vw, most audis have a quattro option when vw dont
some audis have a 100% aluminum body while this is only done on prototypes/concepts for vw’s…
and so on

Q: why can’t I buy an Audi S6 Avant in the US?
The S6 sedan is being sold in the US, but not the Avant?

A: Because Americans don’t buy station wagons. Volvo was reluctant all these years by always offering the body style, but most car makes came and went with wagon styles. The contemporary wagon is sometimes called a sport wagon or crossover even. Audi sells much more sedan variants of their S models or any model for that matter so bringing them over and reworking the exhaust, shipping costs, and options list isn’t worth the money.

In Germany however, the avants easily outsell the limousine (sedan) version. If you are really bent on buying the wagon version (which I think are awesome looking myself), you can take a trip out to Ingolstadt and buy it over there. You would have to pay for shipping and emissions taxes but you would have something totally unique and exactly what you want.

I personally love the S6 Avant in the light blue color. Perfection!

Q: I am thinking of buying a V10 Audi S6 or a V8 Bi Turbo RS6 – Which one should I buy?

A: It’s difficult to choose one. Your best bet would be to dribve them both and then decide which one you prefer best. You would probably be best with the V8 because
1. As already said it sounds better
2. Because it is older depreciation shouldn’t be as bad
and
3. It is more likely to be a bit more economical, however i doubt that is your highest concern.

Hope that helps

Q: i bought a used 2008 audi S6. I need to find a cord to connect my ipod to the stereo.?
i can pay audi $90 for it but thot there mite be an after market cord for much less ?

A: depends is it a simple plug in the front which if thats the case you can go to radio shack and just get that simple cord very cheap. If its a matter of a connection in the back of the actual stereo unit id say pay the dealership unless you are handy and going to be able to pull the unit out yourself and figure it out how to do it.

Q: 2005 audi a6 s6 bumber?
i have a 2005 audi a6 and i want to put a s6 bumber on with the led strip were the fog lights are and i dont know were to buy one so if any one can give me a link to buy one let me know

A: i got a lot of hits just by searching goggle.com for it

Q: Is a Audi A6 worth buying? Any regrets?
Looking into a new Audi A6. Is it fast? Should i go for the bigger engine upgrades? Details on anything is good. How about the Audi S6?

Q: Which car would be a better buy? Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG vs. Aston Martin DB9 Volante?
All 2007 models…

Mercedes Benz SL65 AMG vs. Aston Martin DB9 Volante?
Lexus GS 450 vs Infiniti M45?
Audi S6 vs. Cadillac STS-V?

Thanks.

A: It depends on your taste in cars, I personally like Benz, I think it would handle better and be faster, neither would hold value but both are very cool cars.

Lexus GS 450 vs Infiniti M45 Driven both Two years ago I would have said the Infinity because I like speed. But with the New GS being MUCH faster than the M45 Along with being quieter and more Luxurious, and bigger I would have to go with the Lexus.

Audi S6 vs. Cadillac STS-V Haven’t driven the S6 I have driven an S4 Comparing that against the STS I would go with the STS simply because although it is AWD It lets the tail drift while cornering which makes it a blast to drive.

I would say just get the one that you want, you can get a good buy and be driving a car that you aren’t satisfied with. And if your going to buy a car that is going to cost you as much as a house get one that you are happy with

Q: Any ideas of an all-wheel drive sports car?
I’m a serious autophile, however I cannot think of any all-wheel drive sports cars right now. I can think of some sedans (Volvo S60 R, Audi S4, RS4, S6, RS6, Mazda SPEED6, Subaru Sti, Mitsubishi EVO) but no coupes, other than a Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX or an Eagle Talon TSi. I’m looking to buy a fast, sporty car with AWD, and the Volvo S60 R packs a lot into a very good price. Any other ideas?

A: VW R32

Q: I’m interested in buying a Audi S-Line?
What is the better car, the S6 or the S8? Is there a RS6 scheduled for production in 2007? Also is the German different/better/worse than the American version? If yes/no then why? I’ve been researching the car on the net and am still not sure if the S6 offers a better driving experience than the S8.

A: Two different cars.
Its like asking what the difference is between a BMW 5 series and a BMW 7 Series. They’re both made by the same company, but they are very different!

Try taking each for a test drive and see what you think. The S8 is a very nice refined large luxury car. The S6 will feel a bit sportier mainly because it is smaller and lighter.

Good luck finding a dealer with both in stock and prepared to let you have a test drive.

Q: if you could have any care in the world which one would you choose?
if you could have ANY car/super car in the world which one would you choose counting that you own your own business and make a descent amount of money to buy any car, you live an average daily life BUT, theres a catch even though you can afford many cars you are allowed to have only one, to go to a party, shopping bank, drop you kinds off at school etc… and not your gf or any of ur friends have a car!!! so any suv, sedan, sports or super car

A: The Mustang! I love Mustangs

Q: Mercedes = bad buying vehicle?
I’ve been told by several mechanics that buying a mercedes benz is a bad idea. Within 5-10 years Mercedes will have serious engine problems. A lot of them said fixing a mercedes is very expensive if anything happens and the service is very expensive as opposed to other vehicles. A lot of them don’t recommend me buying a Mercedes. Then what about leasing one, hence, i don’t have to deal with an expensive broken mercedes 5 years from now. I was thinking of getting the CL amg. The CL class has been my dream car since it came out in 1998. But i’ve been too busy so i never got one. This will be my 1st car ever. Have you heard about problems with owning a Mercedes a few years down the road?

I don’t find the BMW M6 attractive and i hate the interior design.
Audi S6 is not as attractive as the CL amg.
M3 i think only comes in MANUAL, and i don’t know how to drive stick.
SL550, it’s nice but i don’t like convertibles. If the SL wasn’t a convertible i’d probably get that.

Is there anything really better than a CL 63 amg? I want to get my first car by beginning of January 2009.
dctitan… just becuase it’s my first car doesn’t mean i’m a teenager. I’m 29.

A: When it comes to reliability, there’s basically Toyota/Lexus and everyone else. The JD Power surveys show CL-class owners are very happy when they buy new; the ratings are still average three years down the road. A recurring weak spot seems to be the mass airflow sensor. Replacement runs about $250, labor included.

The C63 AMG is a nice ride. In black it looks like Darth Vader’s commuter vehicle. Alternatives at this price point include the handsome Audi S5 V8-powered coupe and the Corvette engined Cadillac CTS-V

Q: Mercedes benz = bad BUYING decision?
I’ve been told by several mechanics that buying a mercedes benz is a bad idea. M3 i think only comes in MANUAL, and i don’t know how to drive stick.
SL550, it’s nice but i don’t like convertibles. If the SL wasn’t a convertible i’d probably get that.

Is there anything really better than a CL 63 amg?

A: Why are you coming into P&S and slamming Mercedes?

We used to have a Merc and from what i remember, it worked just fine. My Dad knows quite a bit about cars and he loves Mercecdes
They are a reputable brand.
Maybe those mechanics are trying to play you, car dealers are known for that.

We have two BMWs (X5) and theyre great cars

Q: what car to spend money 12k on?
I’m almost 18 now. I currently drive a 1995 audi a6 with an auto tranny. Although an incredibly well appointed car with great reliability, the car is fairly slow( 0-60 in about 10.5). i’ve been making some money and have about 12k (assuming i sold my own car for 6k). i’m looking for something sporty yet still refined. the 95 S6 is too rare i can’t find any local listings. I would like to hear your suggestions on what other car you would buy

A: You could take half of that money and make your audi’s 0-60 time 5 seconds. Soup it up brother…

Q: thinking about buying a car?
narrowed it down to a bmw 550i with capristo exhaust or a audi S6 or a porsche cayenne turbo.

Help me decide, i dont mind paying for fuel, i just want a nice car that will be safe and quick at the same time. A “Pussy magnet” if u will lol Borat anyone anyone

A: Both are junk –

In a previous question you asked:
Capristo exhaust or borla or something else….?
nothing to ricey, i roll in a bimmer 550i
looking for something that will help emphasize the V8 360 horsey

But here you say you are thinking about buying it???

Q: mileage on an audi S4?
I’m looking at buying a 2002 Audi S4, pre-owned and in pretty much perfect condition, and it already has 122,000 miles on it. I was just wondering how many miles most Audi engines have on them before things go wrong?

A: They will last for almost ever if you change the timing belt on time!!! ALso, it is very important that you use only engine oil that meets specification 502/505. Anything else reduces power and engine life. I have personally seen Audi Turbo cars with more than 300,000 trouble free miles. Count on spending around $1500-2000 for timing belt, water pump, and pulley changes every 105,000 miles.

Q: Should I get a certified used 2007 Audi S4 or a new 2010 Audi A4?
My price range accommodates either choice. I would prefer the performance of the S4, but it is less fuel efficient.

A: The S4. The fuel efficiency on the S4 is phenomenal, especially for all the power. You really won’t find too much of a difference between them when it comes to fuel efficiency.
2007 S4s aren’t turbo anymore, so as long as you aren’t stomping on the accelerator all the time it will be fine. I drive the bi-turbo generation and it’s great on gas.

Repairs on the S4 aren’t too bad – especially if you are comparing it to the newer Audis. As long as you keep up with the regular maintenance (including things like the timing belt/water pump, spark plugs, etc.) the car should last you for a decade! lol

Q: Used 2000 audi s4 quattro good as a good car?
86000 miles for 10995 dollars
Are audis reliable?
Whats the cost of tuning one?
Cost of maintenance?
Anyways i plan on tuning this one up to make it faster?
Details:
V6 turbo
manual
has a bose sound system?
Any other cars you recommend for using as a tuner?
this will be my first car

A: Older Audis are generally not that reliable
The turbos are known to go out on the S4s and have to be replaced
IT is very easy to tune though, you can put on new turbos or even just increase the boos and get 400WHP+ out of it with no trouble

Q: Should I buy a used Audi A4 or Audi S4?
I am looking into buying a new (used) car, and have decided on an audi. I have found a used 1999 A4 Quattro which is in very good condition for $3500 being sold in my town, But have also found a 2001 S4 BiTurbo for $5700 which is also in very good condition. Is it worth it to spend the extra 2k for the V6 S4? I am a college student and currently only do have $6200 in my bank account and cant decide which is the better option

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com

Q: Can a Audi s4 2002 engine or RS4 2005 engine be used to replace the engine in a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 quattro sport?

A: Firstly, the RS4 was not produced in the year 2005, and even if it were, it would be the wrong chassis…

Secondly, it is possible to swap an A4 3.0 engine for a S4 engine, but it does not make much sense in the long run. Assuming that you are paying for labor to have the engine swapped (not doing it yourself), the cost of selling your car and then buying a used S4 would be cheaper.

Also, it would save you a headache from the other parts that you would have to swap out…youll need to change to the 6-speed box, swap out the drive shaft and parts of the suspension, and the hardest part- finding a loom from an S4, just to name some of the process…

Honestly, unless you can find a VERY cheap engine and drivetrain AND are planning to do all the work yourself, selling your A4 and buying an S4 would be a more cost-effective solution to your problem…

But those swaps have been done before, so if you decide to go with it, good luck and have fun

Q: Audi A5 or S4(2006+), used, which one is better choice?
I like A5(3.2 or 3.0TDI) interior and exterior very much, + it’s newer then S4.
But S4 got better performance and doesn’t look bad anyway + it can be modded easily over time.
What do you guys reckon would be better choice between these two?

Oh and please no answers about insurance.

A: if u r looking to modify u go with the S4 twin turbo serious power 450HP

if u want to go with the A5 thats already NICE
well u could modify over time

i say S4 baby smooking power

Q: Isn’t Audi b6 S4 one of the unloved generation of a great car?
Hi,everyone.
I’m in the process of moving to Napa, California from Boston, as I’ve been reassigned and located by my superior. Without much heistation,I had to sell two of my cars I own as I’ll mostly like not return to Massachusettes and if I were to come back to East Coast, It’d be down in Connecticut. So I’ve sold my recently acquired Volvo S70 T5, 04′ silver Toyota 4 Runner Limited. (I bought and owned an B5 S4 for two years and it is now my father’s pride as it is always parked in a heated garage at my parent’s house in Los Gatos ,California.)

Still in the process of moving, I spent most of my time at my new place, as I’m still excepting few boxes to arrive from the previous place in the Freezing East. As house is coming along great, I’ve found myself desperate for a vehicle once again. Unlike East, I’m reminded by everyone that I don’t have to worry about the rust and when I’m searching for a vehicle.

Which directly leads to my question,
I’m in a market for a used Audi S4 once again. As it is discreet and does everything I’m looking for in a car and since I still have the B5 at my parents’ house, I’ve thought it was waste of my money to look for another B5. So with B5 crossed out of my list, there came the B6. Eversince the B6 came out, I loved its simple yet improved design of good B5 and the lusty V8.

I’ve looked everywhere trying to find the perfect B6 S4 for me, so here are my questions.
how much does an b6 S4 cost today?
And did ever caught same amount of popularity as the B5?
Regardless of your answers, I’ll find the B6 of my dreams, and own it forever. Any answer will be apperciated. Thank You,
Justin Han

A: I think any S4 will be appreciated by Audi fans for the rest of time. I also think the B5 that is sitting in your parents garage will begin appreciating in value shortly. I think the B6 will begin to appreciate in value as well over time.

I took a B6 S4 on an overnight test drive a couple years ago and really liked the car. The only problem I had with it was that I was always stepping on it and constantly speeding. I can also say the car is absolutely horrible on gas. But that is probably due to my aggressive driving habits.

Check out www.motorcarenthusiast.com. It’s a vintage, exotic and luxury car trading post. They’ve got a great selection of B6 S4’s in their Audi Quattro section.

Good luck with your search…

Q: how reliable are audi s4’s?
i have been reading alot about how s4’s are not reliable. but from what i have read it seems like most problems arise when the owner upgrades the performance because it puts more stress on the engine.

so if i bought an audi s4 used with around 50,000 miles, keep it stock, and drive it casually will i still have problems? how much maintaining is really required?

A: S4’s are extremely reliable. I have owned mine for about 6 years and have had minimal issues. And yes, people that choose to upgrade their S4’s are definitely more prone to reliability issues, but that is because they drive them very very hard.

If you stay stock and drive casually, you will have no problems (so long as the previous owner has kept up with the scheduled maintenance)…I have put about 134k miles on mine, kept up with the maintenance, and have only had 3 problems, all of which resulted from an oil leak that my mechanic overlooked (blown gasket, etc)…

As far as the cost of maintenance, I will be honest, it’s not cheap…but if you keep up with your maintenance schedule, you will avoid all of the costly repairs.

I will tell you right now, if you buy an S4, it will be the greatest automotive purchase you will ever make. There is nothing like hearing those turbos spool up! I know that after my S4 dies (trying to make it to 220k miles), I’m going to get another one!

email me if you have more questions about the S4 (scottyshades@yahoo.com)

http://www.edmunds.com/used/2001/audi/s4/100000527/reliability.html

Q: I love the audi s4 car but is really expensive, even used. Are there any cars that are similar to it that you?

A: The most beautiful cars are always very expensive .-

Q: Is there an alternative car to an Audi S4 that I should consider?
I’m considering buying a sub-£25000 Audi S4… I really want a Nissan Skyline GTR34, but my wife and my job make it impractical. Used to have a ‘97 Porsche 911, but now I need something more sensible and everyday, with similar power.

It has to be a 4 seat car for commuting in to town… Lots of power, but a car that has a sensible image for first impressions. Was considering a BMW 6 series, but at the end of the day, I will need to be let out of junctions in London…

Any suggestions?

A: For the price there is nothing like an S4. Depending on the year you can either get the twin turbo V-6 with about 236 BHPor the 350 BHP V-8. The all weel drive and the four door make this a little different. The M3 could be and option from BMW but you only get 2 doors. You could go with an Evo or an STI but those two arnt to economical. So, no, i dont think you have a different choice for the price.

Q: Which used car would you prefer(for same $)? 06 Audi S4 with ~30k miles or 07 328i coupe with ~20k miles ?
AWD and HP of Audi is really tempting (also the S badge), but ppl say BMW is truly a better handling car. I’ve had A4 before and liked the solidness, but never driven a bimmer before.

A: It’s up to you and what you want. You are comparing a one year older sport version with 10k (25%) more miles to a newer, non-sport version.

The S version of the Audis and the M-version of the BMWs are performance-tuned models of their base models. Very performance oriented, stiffer ride, more power, better handling, and a bit more expensive to maintain than the standard A4 / 3-series.

If you live in an area with winter driving AWD will make your life a lot easier; chains are no fun to put on. People dont say the BMW is a better handling car in the snow and rain!

I strongly suggest you _drive_ both and compare. If the driving test doesn’t sell you on the S4, buy the newer car with less miles. If you want the AWD but dont care about the performance of the S model, look at A4s.

Q: Looking at used a Audi? Anyone got one?
I’m looking for used cars and I found this sleek Audi S4 Sedan. Test drove it and it seems to ride great. It had about 96,000 miles going for around 10K. Anyone have this car? Suggestions? Anything is appriciated.

A: That is a low price for the car i would expect to have a few repairs they are a great car but can be expensive to maintain. fun to drive and fast. learn to do as much of you own maintenence as possible and you will probably love this car. If you take it to the dealer for every little thing it will dime you to death. i would buy the car and maintain it myself. The link below is a good place to get answers about the car and what maintence it will need.

Q: 07 Audi s-line wagon or used 06 s4 wagon?????

A: If you find a good conditioned used 06 model then I would recommend you jump into that. Have you looked around or asked a dealer if there are still new 06 S4 wagons on the lots as they may have some big incentive programs to move these year end models.

If there is not a lot of price difference between a 07 model and a used 06 then I would jump into a 07 model this way you get 1 more year warranty and as well you know how it has been treated.

Good Luck

Q: Is the Audi S4(B5) a reliable car and would it be a good car for a beginner?
Im just turned 18 and plan on getting my first car soon but my budget isnt that much($8000)and I want something I can modify a bit and the only cars that I am interested in are the E36 M3 and the Audi S4 but everyone I see for sale has really high milage(100000’s) and I was wondering what I should expect out of either of these cars with much milage.

A: I say you go with BMW… Audi’s are not reliable cars

Q: A 2001 Audi S4 how much hp?
I am looking on line at local ones for sale and the ads are saying anywhere from 318-330hp. I did some research on line and sites are saying 250hp. Is this correct? Or are people just making up hp numbers for there stock S4’s?

A: The 2000-2002 Audi S4 has a 2.7L V6 Biturbo engine which is rated at 250 HP. All manufacturer ratings are flywheel horsepower, which is the power at the engine, not at the wheels. A very popular modification to the S4 is replacing the chip in the ECU with another chip that allows more boost. Since the boost is computer controlled, this is a cheap way to get another 70-80 HP from the car. However, in the wrong hands this will accelerate the destruction of turbos, particularly in 2000-2001 models. 2001.5 models have an updated turbo system that is more durable.

IN any event, I would look for an unmodified S4 and if you want more power, upgrade the chip yourself with the understanding that if you thrash the car it will self destruct to the tune of $6000, which is the replacement cost of both turbochargers. Having the extra power for occasional use is fine but if you’re drag racing or doing track events, it can accelerate the wear on the turbos. Most performance chips allow you to disable the extra boost for when you want to save fuel or drive hard, and let you enable the extra power for normal driving and passing, where the occasional hard burst of acceleration probably won’t hurt anything. Of course, maintenance is very important, so be sure to buy only from someone who knows their car well and can prove that they’ve done all the required maintenance.

Q: Average Lifespan for Audi’s?
I am Very Seriously Considering Getting a B6 Audi S4, however I don’t really know much about Audi. I noticed that a good portion of the Audi’s I have seen for sale have about 50-60k miles on them (2003-2005). I know that like Honda and Toyota can easily go for 150k miles +, what would you say would be a conservative mileage estimate for the lifespan of Audi’s.

A: It’s likely that the cars with 50-60K miles on them and a few years old have come off of leases, hence their availability in large numbers (this is true of many other cars). Has nothing to do with car’s durability.

Audis can last for a long time, say 150K to 200K miles isn’t unusual, provided that they’re maintained accordingly. The S4 is the high performance variant and highly desired.

That said, Audis are not cheap to maintain or fix – they are in a different league as opposed to your garden variety Toyota or Honda, and if you choose to own one, you should budget accordingly. You’ll be making the tradeoff in favor of performance, luxury vs. cost here.

Q: Is California gas guzzler tax implied on used vehicles?
Bying certain new cars in CA one may get hit with gas guzzler tax, i.e. 2007 Audi S4 $ 1,700. How is that if one intends to buy a used vehicle. Is the gas guzzler tax then again implied and, if so, is it added after the negotiated price incl. sales tax or will the tax be taxed as well with sales tax (kinda double taxed). Please clarify the taxing situation for me. Thanks in advance

A: APplied, not implied.

And no, it isn’t. That’s just for new vehicles. It’s just sales tax and/or registration.

Q: Is it possible to convert a modern performance car to LPG (liquid pertoleum gas)?
I realise the benefits of LPG fuel, but will it adversely affect a modern performance car, considering the chip, etc?

I’m looking at a second-hand 4.2 litre Audi S4 and most of the time, I’ll be commuting in town, so the LPG would be wise for day-to-day, with a bit of power at the flick of a switch…

Will the performance on petrol be affected at all?
Will the engine life be reduced?
Will it affect the sale price adversely?

Anycomments?
- In reply to these early answers… I realise LPG provides lower performance, but what about when you switch back to petrol, in a converted car… Also, in the UK, we already pay around $9 per gallon, so perhaps you can see the attraction of LPG is greater than in the US. Perhaps that’s why finding someone to do the work is easy.—— Good point about the weight increase, although the Audi is already a very heavy car. —– Thanks!

A: hahaha dude do you wanna carry an extra 200 lbs with ya? second, yes mileage isnt equal. third, yes the performance is lower. higher engine temps.and yes its possible.
benefits are longer engine life.clean emissions, and tons of fun finding a mechanic who knows about them. now i dont know if the modern systems have a demand richening system or not, but that would increase the sluggishness. also advancing timing,to increase the power. so youd need a seperate ecm or whatever, with a custom curve. also, if you dont have a leaner richer system, then if you have an o2, youd have to install a resistor in a bypass circuit to cut the o2 during lpg fueling. this will help stop hunting idle, and timing adjustment in a vicious cycle that doesnt work.
and then the system has to be mantained, and propane oil smells bad.
tricky, ive done a few days mantaining a few different vehicles.

Q: How Do I gain all of my horsepower back?
When I heard my neighbor, Craig was going to sell his beloved silver Audi S4 in exchange for a Corvette. It was more than tempting me to bargain the deal, as I was always envious of my neighbor with a much finer car than mine. (For those who want to know more, my car was a 92` gray Subaru Impreza.)

Then, the jackpot. When Craig got the delivery of his brand new red Corvette Z06, he called me in my cell informing that the car was for sale and could sell me the car. With the discounted price, I handed over the check and the car was mine.

It was an 01` Silver Audi S4 (B5 Generation) with 93,525 miles already covered and I knew it was in good hands. As the car was his daily driver and toy at the same time. So with no-accident, no-mechanical problem I`ve drove away in style.

I admired the car`s Incredible acceleration as I`ve appreciated that the car was built in the typical German style. As I`ve thought I didn`t need to spend any more money.

But when I`ve took the car to the dealership, I dynoed it and it came with only 210 horsepower. I was highly disappointed, as I heard from the previous owner that when the car was shiny and new, It produced 250 horsepower, but many moons and mornings later, the car have lost 40 horsepower.

After servicing the car with a fresh performance oil and filter, it rose up to 215 horsepower, is there anyway to regain all of my horsepower? I love this car and I want it to give me all it got. If there`s any tips for modifying the car, please let me know. As I`ve just received a GIAC Chip to replace my Primary ECU programming.

Sorry for the long story, but I`ve just felt like saying it all, once again, I thank you for any kind of answers.

A: Did Craig dyno the car or is he just quoting the advertised HP?
How did the dealer dyno the car? Chassis dyno? Is 210 wheel HP or flywheel HP?

The US B5 S4 had 250hp measured at the flywheel. Assuming a 16% loss through the drivetrain (friction and weight from the transmission, differential, axles, gears, bearings, etc) you end up with 210hp at the wheels, which is really good considering the age and mileage.

So the car didn’t lose the HP throughout the years, so you won’t gain any back but you can modify it to increase the HP.

Check out http://forums.audiworld.com/forumdisplay.php?f=6 for lots of info. There’s too many mods to list to gain more HP.

Q: Is there a way to find out if a private seller for a car that im looking at in the UK is legit?
ill just copy and paste what he emailed to me…..this car was also found on craigslist. It just sounds to good to be true

Hi,

Thank you for your interest in my car.This is a 2005 AUDI S4 NAVIGATION LOW MILES,Transmission: Automatic,Engine: 8 – Cyl. 4.2 L,Exterior Color: Blue,Interior Color: Black,Body Style: Sedan,Title Status:clear,All Wheel Drive,Automatic Transmission,Multitronic CV,Tiptronic,Air Bags,4 Wheel Disc Brakes,Anti-Lock Brakes,Anti-Skid Control,Traction Control,Adjustable Steering Wheel,Air Conditioning,Bose Sound System
Mileage: 22,200 miles
VIN: WAUPL68E45A042405

Here you can find more pictures of the car: http://s777.photobucket.com/albums/yy60/trues4/
(if the above link does not work copy and paste it into a new web browser window).

The car has been well taken care of, always kept in the garage.Flawless exterior/interior condition,no scratches and no dents. It has never been involved in an accident. The engine starts and drives like new and the paint looks great. It comes with US clear title which will be signed and notorized in the buyer’s name.Have original manuals and all keys.

I’m an US Air Force Sgt.currently stationed in the United Kingdom. The car is here with me. It was bought in the US and shipped to Europe, but it was never permanently registered here, the car is still registered in the US.The car is for sale locally as well, but there are slim chances of this to happen. In order to be able to register this car here in the UK the buyer would have to pay very high import/custom taxes that will double the price. So I decided to sell the car back in the US.

The price is $4,850.00 US Dollars including shipping from the UK to the US and delivery to your home address. So if you decide to buy this car or need further information please get back to me as soon as possible.

Thank you
Sgt.Raymond Douglas

A: I can 110% guarantee the car does not exist. It’s a scam. DO NOT go through with it.

Q: Am I paying too much?
Hello,
I went to an audi dealership and went looking for an s4, found an old one, a 2006, around 40k miles on it, and when we went to talk numbers they seemed extremely high for finance, 800/month for 5 years, the sale price was listed at 25k. That just seems extremely expensive, considering I got quoted 850 for a 2009 bmw m3. Seriously can anyone inform me what kind of payments I would be looking for when I get a 45k-50k or even 25k. This guy was taking me for an idiot.

A: That’s hilarious. You realize they are charging you like 30% interest?

If you financed $25,000 for five years at 29% your payment is $793 a month. At 19% it is $648 a month. At 9% it is $518 a month. At 5% it is $471 a month.

If you finance $40,000 for 5 years at 5% its $754 a month. At 9% its $830 a month. At 15% it’s $951 a month.

Yes i do agree with you it is clever [...]

Find new and used New Audi RS6 at our automotive classifieds and Cars for Sale website Classifieds.Sub5Zero.com

Q: do you think the new audi rs6 advert with the gymnastics is cleverly done?
i think its really good how thats been done looks really good for a advert

A: Hi
Yes i do agree with you it is clever how they have combined a few of the major parts in gymnastics especially the twin turbos ! look around while the ad is running not just the centre there s more going on there very good 10 out of 10 for Audi on that one

Q: How much wuold a tt v10 audi RS6 Cost brand new?
Dream car, can’t find pricing online anywhere.
*would – typo
TT = Twin Turbo
Not the audi TT Just a quick refernce to twin turbo’d car

http://www.speedlux.com/702-hp-audi-rs6-avant-by-mtm-fastest-car-at-the-nardo-high-speed-event/

Audi RS6

A: Price starts at $114,000

Just go to Audi of UK, they sell RS6’s there and do a quick conversion to euro to dollar

Q: I am in the market for a new car. Which is the best: BMW 335i, Benz E55 AMG, Audi RS6, or Jaguar S-type R?
I have had my Land Rover for a few years now and want to buy something a little sportier. Which in the list would you choose for best overall drive, reliability, features, etc? I am also considering a Porsche Cayenne turbo.

A: best to worst – Audi, bmw, benz, jag.

and if you’re considering the porsche, you can’t really go wrong with that choice.

Q: Does Audi still make the rs6 advant. the newest ones I can is are 03’s I’m think they do but i’m not sure?
Audi rs6

A: Yes, the RS6 Avant does exist… sadly though, it is not coming to the states. I asked my dealer the other day, when I was getting my oil changed.

Q: 2003 Audi RS6 vs. 2001 BMW M5 vs. 2003 Audi S8 vs. 2003 Mercedes CL 500 vs. 2001 BMW 750iL?
I am interested in purchasing a new car. These are my top choices, please help me choose. Picks can be based on anything, power, speed, ride quality, just want to know which car is the best to purchase. Thank you.

A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net

Q: What car would you choose and which is better performance wise?
Here my problem, I am in the market for a new car but cant choose. I have narrowed my searcyh to these three vehicles, 2006 Charger SRT8, 2003 BMW M5, and a 2003 Audi RS6. my heart is kind of set on the audi, but I don’t know if it will be a wise decision, so please help and sway me in the right direction.

A: I think that you should go for the 2003 BMW M5. It will smoke the audi and charger. Plus the M5 looks way better than the other two.

Q: euro-spec eurospec cars in the USA?
Does anyone have a euro-spec car they drive or have in the USA? What are the laws for having a Euro-spec car in the USA? I’m an american that has been living in europe the past two years and is now going back to the USA. I purchased the new 2008 Audi RS6 wagon but i want to import it back with me to the USA since they do not sell it in the USA yet. Will this be hard?

A: My friend works as a “customs broker”. Private companies that work with US Customs. They can easily do what you suggest..

Q: Hi quick question, Audi A4 1.8t quattro (new shape 2001)?
Should I buy RS4 alloys or RS6 alloys?
(is anyone selling any)
Thanks in Advance

A: the rs4 ones are nicer but thats just my opinion!

Q: audi quattro good for chicago’s wintry mix?
the new s4.

or better yet, the new rs6.

A: I used to live in MN and around the TC the OEM tires are fine. The only thing that I advise is, take it easy, Quattro does not mean invincible, means that will drive better and will give you good control. The braking dynamics apply to all cars, big and small. Just drive normal and you will be more than fine. If the traffic goes at some speed and you can do more, do not try to be faster than anybody else and you will be fine !

The best way of avoiding an accident is not getting into one.

Good Luck in the windy city !

Q: Audi TT upsizing wheels ????
I have a 2002 audi TT with 225/45-17 wheels on it, and I’ve been thinking upsizing to the RS6 replica wheels
( 19×8 5-100 30S wheels) but my question is if the new wheels will fit my car without compromising the ride and handling?
Will I need spacers? or any additional thing?

Please help..
Thanks.

A: They fit but you will need 35 series tires and that will sacrifice ride quality. Handling and looks will improve though. You might not notice but your car will be slower in a straight line because you will be adding rotational weight and a lot of it.

Q: What cars are in your household?
and who drives them?

theres like 11 cars in my house hold, but we live on like a compound and some of the cars belong to nigel mansell and his family. but there is:

my mums alfa 159 which is blue
my step dads bmw 3 series coupe- black
sisters corsa- marroon
my fiat punto – black

a merc spriter- white
a lorry – lol

audi rs6 – red
audi rs6 old – blue
audi tt- silver
audi a4- blue
merc s class v12- black
new s calss- black
crystler grand voyger – black

^^ there not ours so dont say im braging plz

A: I’ve got 1 parked out on the street outside the household.

Q: fastest saloon de-restricted?
hi i’m in the market for buying an uber saloon to my car collection, and i want the fastest based on what they are capable of de-restricted. i am currently looking at the mercedes s65 amg, the audi rs6 saloon, bmw m5, cadilac cts-v?, i wont be buying until 2009 when the new models come out i dont know whether to wait for the next gen bmw m5 e62 when its launched because it rumoured to have near 600bhp or the next gen merc s65 amg because who knows how much power that might have. but could anybody on here tell me which of these cars would be the fastest de-restricted, i am intrested in the brabus range and i also hear that ultimate aero are producing a super saloon as well, with so many choices of super saloon, i wondored if anybody on here could point me in the right direction in terms of most important speed when de-restricted but also features and luxury etc too?

A: AUDI RS6. about 730bhp. and comes with everything inc 4wheel drive

A: having owned both makes, i can only tell you this:

they share some parts, and even though the a4 and the passat are built similar, there are few parts that are interchangeable.

why are people so quick to judge vw and audi when nissan makes the 350z or 370z now and the g35 which are the same car (probably just as much as a passat is a a4)

if anyone looks up vw and audi’s history they will find many of the great things these 2 car makers have brought to the auto industry.

anyway, i could write forever about this…but just to finish quick

there are obvious differences between audi and vw, most audis have a quattro option when vw dont
some audis have a 100% aluminum body while this is only done on prototypes/concepts for vw’s…
and so on
