Q: What is a better used car ‘06 BMW M5 or ‘07 Audi RS4?
The prices are about the same right now and there are quite a few of both supercars offered for sale. I love the beastly 507hp M5 Ferrari killer; but the 420hp RS4 is no dog – lighter and Quattro awd is nice for winter in Long Island. I’m torn.
A: Great problem to have. I love the 06 M5, the wheels on it alone make me drool. Audi is also great. it all comes down to whether you want that snob value or that understated power? I would go with the snob value of the m5.
Q: Can a Audi s4 2002 engine or RS4 2005 engine be used to replace the engine in a 2002 Audi A4 3.0 quattro sport?
A: Firstly, the RS4 was not produced in the year 2005, and even if it were, it would be the wrong chassis…
Secondly, it is possible to swap an A4 3.0 engine for a S4 engine, but it does not make much sense in the long run. Assuming that you are paying for labor to have the engine swapped (not doing it yourself), the cost of selling your car and then buying a used S4 would be cheaper.
Also, it would save you a headache from the other parts that you would have to swap out…youll need to change to the 6-speed box, swap out the drive shaft and parts of the suspension, and the hardest part- finding a loom from an S4, just to name some of the process…
Honestly, unless you can find a VERY cheap engine and drivetrain AND are planning to do all the work yourself, selling your A4 and buying an S4 would be a more cost-effective solution to your problem…
But those swaps have been done before, so if you decide to go with it, good luck and have fun
Q: Whats the cheapest FAST car I can get? Perhaps used?
My boyfriend just bought a used Audi RS4 and after taking a ride in that beast, I know for sure that I want a fast car of my own once I get out of med school and finish residency. Obviously, I won’t have much money (unlike my bf)…so whats the fastest car I can get for the least amount of money?
A: 87-93 Ford Mustang GT. You can get a decent one for around $5000. Stock they have 225 horsepower and 275 ft/lbs of torque. Spend $2000 in simple upgrades and you will have a car that produces over 300 horsepower and 350 ft/lbs of torque. They are very lightweight and are also cheap and easy to maintain and upgrade. No car ever made has as much performance parts support as this.
Q: i need to know the color code for a Nogaro Blue 2000 audi rs4. any help?
this color is also used on a 2004 Audi RS6 and 2004 Audi TT.
A: The color code for Nogaro Blue is A67NB.
Q: 2005 Maserati Quattroporte vs 2006 BMW M5 vs 2007 Audi RS4?
In the market to buy a used 2005 Maserati Quattroporte or 2006 BMW M5. I can’t decide between the two. Both have relatively the same miles and I’m also looking for a good resale value Or should I go with an 2007 Audi RS4
A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com
Q: Importing Audi RS4 from Europe to United States Florida for a personall use?
I want to bring my car to school in Florida for up to one year after I will buy one in Florida. I just want to know how much do I need to modify my car and what needs to be done so I can do this. If anyone has any advice I would appriciate it alot. It is an Audi 2007 RS4 bought in Germany. Now I dont know what are the veichle regulations in florida and how much of a difference there is between american RS4 and European RS4.
Tnx
A: If you keep it registered in Germany its no problem. If you want to title and register it here it might be a problem, then again the Florida DMV is VERY lax with things like this. We don’t even have annual inpection here.
I’ve heard that fuel type can be reprogrammed on some VWs right from the dash.
Q: What car to choose Audi, Mercedes, or BMW?
Looking for a fun used car to buy. Trying to decide between an 2007 Audi RS4, a 2006 mercedes CLS 55 AMG, or a 2006 BMW m5. Also looking for a car with a good resale value. Can’t decide. Any other suggestions are welcome
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.sinfree.net
Q: what are the cost of these used cars?
2006 bmw m3
2007 nissan 350z
2006 audi rs4
2007 audi tt
2007 mazda rx8
2004 range rover
what do those either second or third hand cost and how can i get them in new jersey.
A: Go to Autotrader.com & start looking at all the ads for those cars in your area to get an idea. Prices can vary widely based on condition & mileage.
Q: In your opinion what do you think is the greatest car in last few years? Also why do you think this?
I feel it is the Audi RS4 (now i know some of you americans will be like WHAT?). I think this because i feel the germans have got such a good looking sporty style into a car you can use everyday. Yea sure its restricted to 155mph, but unrestricted god knows what speeds that car could do. Also i feel with four wheel drive, can you honestly go wrong ? 0-60 in 4.2 seconds, this car just screams respect me.
A: The Nissan GT-R.
A mix between the 350z and Skyline, you just can’t beat it (of course with it fully maxed out, stock doesn’t count, no racer leaves it stock).
Top speed at stock: 193 Mph (this can be adjusted by changing the over all gear ratio higher to go to higher speeds, but will slow acceleration slightly as it goes up and will increase it when it lowered (I prefer 17).
0-60 in 3.2 seconds with Launch Control and 3.8 without it.
It is currently one of the fastest cars to lap the Nurbergring Circuit (a typically 8+ minute track) in 7:26 (with a fully professional driver, others tried and called them liars rather than admit they were just automotive reporters and clearly not Professional Drivers).
It was tested against the Porche 911 GT3 and BMW M3 and bested them both.
In another test with multiple cars again, the only notable car being the Gallardo LP560-4, it was beaten by the Gallardo but only because of a 112 mph limit, it reportedly was stuck at 112 for more than 10 secs at a time, meaning if it where unlimited it would have smoked the Gallardo so hard that Lambo would have poo’d a little.
They entered a fully racing modified version into the Super GT (race) and after wining the first race was struck with a penalty forcing a 50 kg weight increase for ALL GT-R’s.
I love Nissan for making cars like this.
Q: How can I do this in Excel?
Im doing an assignment for school, where I have to compare three vehicles and find out, using the spreadsheet, which one is most economically-efficient, that is, cheapest in the long run when you take into account running costs.
Now, I have established my values for total running costs for one year, for each car. How can I make a ranking of each car, to show which car turns out the cheapest, and which car turns out the most expensive?
For example, I want in one cell to show the name of the car that is the cheapest according to the values of the running costs I have put to the cell beside the cells that contains the names of each car.
Which function would I use, and how can I write the formula?
For example,
The BMW 740i on-road costs per year are: $16,599.99
The Audi RS4 on-road costs per year are: $18,061.60
The Mercedes CLK-63 AMG on-road costs per year are: $18,061.60
I need a formula that will show in a cell, the name of the cheapest car , in the long run.
A: I would suggest use of two Nested IF statements.
This is how the IF statement is checked in EXCEL
IF(logical_test, value_if_true, value_if_false)
The logical test is the comparison to be performed.
Value if true or false is the value that the cell will take based on the comparison performed. The value can take on another cell’s value or you can set it to a static, non changing, value such as 200 for example. I belive you can also set it to any text you desire, but the use of ” or ‘ is required…I can’t remember.
Here is the equation and an explanation of what is going on. During the first comparison A1 is compared to A2. Q: Can a twin turbo kit fit on a 2008 Audi A4 2.0t ? A: No… the 2.0 is a inline engine meaning that it only needs one turbo… the S4 is a v6 and needs to be balanced on both sides of the engine… Q: European vs Japanens vs American? A: Corvette Z06. For the money, it’s the closest thing to a factory race car you can buy; it is ultra dependable, stupid fast and can be driven every day. While not really my cup of tea I have to admit the car really has a set of stones. The money you would save vs a high-strung european would buy many, many sets of tires and maintenance. I love the Viper but it is a beast to drive on streets and looney toons expensive to maintain. The Mustang has to have one of the most de-bugged platforms and engine/drive trains in existence, (big V8, rear wheel drive), but without heavy modifications (meaning suitcases full of cash) it is just not competetive on the GT circuit. Q: Your top 5 dream cars? 5 is a difficult number for me. I always have serious difficulty narrowing down into 5. There is always one extra super car that I always want to squeeze in and get a rid of a utility vehicle, daily commuter, or anything realistic and practical. If you want to include extra details with options, colors, year models, etc feel free. The pool of cars I like to chose from consists of roughly the following. Feel free to include a concise list of cars that make choosing just 5 an absolute challenge. Mine are: Porsche 911 Turbo, Aston Martin DBS, Corvette ZR1, Ferrari F430, BMW Z8 (so so performance, but amazing looks), BMW M3, Cadillac CTS-V, VW Touareg, VW GTI mkV, VW R32 mkV, Mercedes S550, Range Rover Sport, Tesla Roadster, Audi RS4, Cadillac Sixteen, Tahoe/Denali/Escallade (amazing utility), Ferrari 275 GTS, Volvo C30, etc. The list could go on forever. [Porsche 911 Turbo] [Aston Martin DBS] [Corvette ZR1] [VW Touareg] [VW GTI] I should mention that I made a huge effort to try to squeeze the Ferrari F430 on this list, but sadly the practicality of the Touareg and GTI trumped it. I’m sure if I drove a F430 I would fall in love with it and would want one instantly. It’s my favorite of all the flamboyant Italian sports cars. But, I worry that it’s just too flashy for me. I’m not much of a Corvette guy, but I like the ZR1 simply because it’s practical performance, not it’s styling. I think the F430 has one of the most beautiful rear ends of any car, but if I had a ZR1, DBS, and a 997T, I would struggle to figure out what kind of day I would want to use a F430. The A: 1 – 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda AAR. Only a few thousand were made and it is my all time favorite. A truly vicious looking machine. #2 – 1987 Buick GNX. ’nuff said. #3 – 1931 Duesnenberg Model J Phaeton. Gotta have one old time classic in there. Hard to argue with the beauty of this: http://www.carnut.com/cgibin/03/_image.pl?/photo/contrib/nash/pic004.jpg #4 – Chrysler TC by Maserati Convertible. Need a convertible in amongst the 5 and also needed a WTH is that car. Doesn’t get weirder than a Chrysler K car with the Maserati Trident on it. http://www.allpar.com/model/tc.html #5 – If I can only have the 5 vehicles I need something pratical as a daily driver. Gotta be a Caddy Escalade with all the options
The cost per year are located at cells A1, A2, and A3 in my example.
=IF(A1
If A1 is less than A2 then the true value path is selected which is IF(A1
I no this seems bit out there but i only ask because the RS4 is twin turboed and uses the same engine bay. (btw can it work on a auto, or only stick). thanks
There is no single turbo V style engined car
just remver if its a v6 v8 v10 or v12 its gotta have a twin turbo
it its an inline 4, 5 , or 6 it is going to have a single turbo on it
BMW M3, C55 AMG, Audi RS4 or Skyline R34-GTR, Mazda RX-8, Toyota Supra or BMW M3, C55 AMG, Audi RS4, or Dodge Viper, Corvette Z06, Ford Mustang, which one that more suitable in normal day used and competitive in racing circuirt (without modification)??
If you had 5 car garage and all the money in the world, what would you get and why? As silly as it sounds with the “all the money in the world” criteria, be realistic. If you’d fill your garage with all upper 6 figure and 7 figured exotics, which would drive to work everyday? You want a chose a car for a particular application: off roading / utilities, aggressive high speed driving, grand touring, daily commute, luxury car for special occasions, etc. If you picked 5 speed demons, do you think you’d be able to keep up with the maintenance. Even the most wealthy get annoyed taking the car, or paying someone to take their car, in for a check up.
I just love this car. I have a sentimental attachment to it. It is just the ultimate road super car. It doesn’t lay on the ground, its got an efficient turbo charged engine, its comfortable, and relatively practical (minus the back seats). This car is the ultimate overtaker on a freeway. If I had the balls to rack up the miles, maintain it constantly, and stomach the depreciation, I would chose it for my daily driver.
It’s not the fastest car in the world, but who cares. The DBS just makes one feel very special. Therefore I would make it my unorthodox grand tourer. Sure, it’s getting carbon fiber everywhere and stellar handling for aggressive driving, but it does it all in a very relaxed, classy, and refined manner. The interior is remarkable. This is what I’d use for a special occasion as one would use their S class, A8, or even their Bentley for. I would tell my extra passengers to suck it up and stop complaining and about the leg room.
This car is just phenomenal. It’s not quite as elegant like the cars I’ve named so far, but its performance figures are just unbeatable. I’m sure others can list some rare exotics that could squash the ZR1 by a slim margin, but who cares. Most of the exotics capable of running with or sprinting past the ZR1 are more needy than a whiny toddler. You can get one serviced at damn chevy dealer. The parts are abundant and relatively cheap. This car does not have to speed its life in climate controlled garage. Hell, it could be daily driver. This car is pure pragmatic performance.
While it’s not a mighty Land Rover or as luxurious as a Escalade, it is my favorite suv. In my opinion it’s a great blend between luxury and sportiness. I figured that if I had 5 cars, one should be at least capable of towing, seating 5 people very comfortable, have excellent storage, and have a classy interior. The Touareg seems to sum it up for me. It also feels the most nimble and agile of most SUVs I’ve driven.
I thought about putting an R32 here, but I already chose cars with extraordinary amounts of power. Why do I need a 6 cylinder in a small hatch back for urban driving? The less gas it consumes, the better. With a GTI, you get enough excitement with the turbocharged 200hp inline four in dense areas. The utility is excellent and I would not freak out if something bad happened to it. It’s so nimble. Parking it is a breeze. I have not tested any of the latest audi quatro hatchbacks, but if I find one that feels nimble and agile with quatro, I’ll probably swap it for the GTI. I even thought a CTS-V, but it’s just absurd as a daily driver. Too much power and too little mpg for a four door sedan. It would make me feel guilty.Related Posts
